Our Story

DoCam started in 2024 as a focused project to solve a common frustration: people joining video calls only to discover their camera or microphone isn't working. What began as a simple webcam checker quickly grew into a comprehensive device diagnostics platform.

Our original platform, docam.ru, was built to serve the Russian-speaking market. As demand grew from users around the world, we launched docam.io in 2025 as our international division — bringing the same reliable testing tools to a global audience with support for English, Chinese, Hindi, and Spanish.

Today, DoCam serves thousands of users monthly across both platforms, helping everyone from remote workers preparing for meetings to IT departments running equipment checks.
