Location Access Denied - How to Fix

Updated: April 2026

What Triggers This Permission Block

Seeing "Location access denied" or "Location access is blocked" means your browser tried to read your position but was refused. Several things can cause this:

  • You clicked "Block" when asked for location permission
  • Location services are disabled on your device
  • Your browser settings block location access
  • Privacy/security software is blocking location

Quick Fix

  1. Click the lock icon in your browser's address bar
  2. Find "Location" in the permissions list
  3. Change it to "Allow"
  4. Reload the page
